Really had a good time shooting JJ and Renee Valentine. (Renee will be on the blog tomorrow.)

JJ and Renee are both IT professionals and avid gamers. JJ brought his

Dungeons and Dragons dice. The photographers out there will appreciate the

difficulty of getting both JJ's face and the dice in sharp focus. I did it with a wide-angle lens

(18mm), a small aperture (f13) and a very slow shutter speed (1/5 sec.). If JJ had

moved at all, the movement would have blurred the shot. Fortunately, he

was as steady as a rock, so everything is tack sharp.
